Jim Bandanza CRO/Chief Operating Officer CounterTack

CounterTack, a pioneer in delivering real-time endpoint threat detection, context and visibility around targeted attacks, today announced it has named Jim Bandanza as CRO/Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Bandanza will be responsible for defining corporate strategy and policies and overseeing operations of the Sales, Marketing and Business Development units at CounterTack.

With more than two decades of experience, Bandanza has extensive knowledge of field operations, including direct/indirect sales, business development, marketing, sales engineering, customer and professional services. He has valuable knowledge of all of the major and emerging markets throughout the world, and has implemented go-to-market plans accordingly to accelerate growth.

Prior to joining CounterTack, Bandanza served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Egenera, where he was responsible for leading the company's sales and service organizations. During his time with the company, he led the transformation of the go-to-market model to meet the needs of the company's evolving cloud-based software business. Before that, he held several executive leadership positions at RSA, The Security Division of EMC. As RSA's Senior Vice President of Field Operations, he was a critical member of the management team when EMC acquired RSA for $2.1 billion in 2005. Bandanza also held senior roles with Stream International, Versys Inc, BBN and LTX Corporation.

Bandanza is an advisor to a number of emerging technology firms, and earned his Bachelor's degree in business from Northeastern University.
