Accelerate Seamless Connectivity with Leading ERP Systems

New program to support 50 ERP systems with out-of-the-box software, expanding support, ease of implementation for ERP-agnostic deployment of industry leading financial close suite

Financial software company BlackLine Systems has unveiled a new strategic program to provide seamless connectivity to more than 50 different source systems, allowing BlackLine’s rules automation engines and analytics to be applied to a wide variety of finance and accounting operational processes.

BlackLine’s new Integrated Connector Strategy (ICS) program will provide out-of-the-box, ready-to-use connectors for all commonly used enterprise resource planning systems (ERPs), including (but not limited to) Oracle Fusion, Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, Microsoft, Lawson, JD Edwards and Infinium, in addition to the connectors the company already provides for clients extracting data from SAP® and NetSuite.

BlackLine’s Financial Close Suite is currently in use at more than 800 of the world’s largest organizations and interfaces with all major ERP and General Ledger (GL) systems.  BlackLine’s ICS is a comprehensive strategy around data imports designed to streamline the implementation process for new clients, as well as facilitate the changing IT landscapes for current clients.

“An out-of-the-box connector dramatically speeds up our clients’ implementations, minimizing both risk and cost,” said Therese Tucker, CEO and Founder of BlackLine Systems.  “In today’s business world, software vendors don’t have great credibility.  Our connectors allow potential clients to quickly validate BlackLine’s claims of value, ease-of-use and hard ROI.”

As part of the ICS rollout, BlackLine is working with select beta clients to prove out both functional and load capabilities in addition to the secure, seamless transmission of data.  Functional capabilities include data transformations with configurable calculations, lookups, and parsing as necessary.  BlackLine plans to begin rolling out the new connectors on a phased basis with the first available by the end of the year.

“Many of our clients upload close to a half million accounts into BlackLine on a daily basis,” added Tucker.  “It’s important that our connectors can perform for a wide variety of ERP volumes and configurations.”

Though ERP-agnostic, at the end of last year, the company announced that the BlackLine Financial Close Suite for SAP® Solutions has become an SAP-endorsed business solution – joining the ranks of fewer than 40 other software offerings globally.  BlackLine also is an SAP Gold Partner.
